ADVENTURELAND JUNGLE ROOM
We call the K-3rd grades the Jungle because it is an exciting jungle in there. In the Jungle room, the kids begin with 10 minutes of fun free time activities that allow our loving leaders to interact with your child. The children can go down one of two slides or cross the 10 foot tall swaying bridge as they have an exciting adventure.
When the service starts, they learn the main point of the day before entering into an exciting time of worship. After worship they learn a memory verse of the day, give their offerings, and then listen to a multimedia Bible story. After the Bible story, the Jungle leader will take them through a detailed explanation and application of the lesson for the day.
They then enter breakout time in which they gather into small groups to participate in activities, learn how to apply the Bible story, look up passages in the Bible, and learn how to pray for one another like the early church. Services conclude with fun games that help remind the kids of what they’ve learned in a fun and exciting way. Every child is sent home with a follow-up guide that allows you as a parent to work with your child through the week on the lesson they were taught. The sheets contain challenges and verses to teach your child throughout the week. When your children bring these back completed, bring their Bibles, or bring friends, it allows them opportunities to win cool prizes. Bibles are available for families that can not afford to purchase one themselves.
